Villa Motmot

We had a great trip !! 5 couples, plenty of room. Loved the pool, spent all our time there!! Kitchens were well equipped. Maria cooked some amazing breakfasts and looked after us perfectly!! Adriana was always available and attentive to our needs! Walking distance to beach and downtown… lots of great restaurants and local grocery stores!! Fabulous trip!! Would highly recommend!!

Our stay at the villa was fantastic! Coordinating with Adriana beforehand was easy and seamless—she made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and shared great recommendations for activities and outings.
The villa itself was wonderful: very clean, well maintained, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy time in Tamarindo. It’s just a short walk from town, which made the location especially convenient.
The daily cleaning service was also much appreciated and elevated our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable time in Tamarindo.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in CR. The property is beautiful, with spacious rooms, a large patio, and a rooftop terrace that was perfect for relaxing. The rooms open directly onto the pool, creating a great indoor–outdoor flow and making it an ideal space to spend time together.
The location is excellent—about a 15-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the start of town, and 10 minutes to a grocery store. If you are there on a Thursday, the nearby night market is a must and is only a 7-minute walk away. One thing to note for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns: there is a steep hill from the main road up to the Airbnb.
Communication was outstanding throughout our stay. Adrianna was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions. Maria, our house host, was incredible—warm, friendly, and welcoming. She prepared delicious breakfasts and snacks and was always around when needed without ever being intrusive. Overall, a fantastic experience.

IT'S VERY HUGE AND ALOT OF BEDROOMS AND 2 KITCHENS - WE ONLY USED ONE KITCHEN. ITS LIKE 2 HOMES IN ONE
MARIA WAS WONDERFUL AS WELL.
I LIKE THE DIRECT ACCESS TO THE POOL AREA FROM THE BEDROOMS. YOU WILL SEE MONKEYS IN THE AREA THEY DIDNT BOTHER US.
THE HOUSE HAS A LAUNDRY ROOM YOU CAN USE AS WELL.
LOCATION IS CONVIENT TO THE TOWN AREA, YOU CAN WALK, BUT WE RENTED A GOLF CART.
THE HOST GAVE USE THE INFORMATION FOR RENTING A GOLF CART / PRIVATE AIRPORT SHUTTLE AND SUPERMARKET INFORMATION. WE DIDN'T NEED FOR ANYTHING...PLENTY OF TOWELS TO USE AND EVERYONE CAN HAVE OWN BATHROOM WHICH IS A PLUS. IT'S SMART TV'S/ AC / CEILING FANS IN ALL ROOMS.
ON THURSDAY NIGHTS ITS A NIGHT MARKET - LOCALS RESIDENTS SELL HANDMADE ITEMS, JEWERLY - CLOTHES - ETC.
THE ROAD TO THE HOUSE IS VERY BUMBY IN CASE YOU DECIDE TO WALK UP/DOWN IT.
I WILL KEEP THIS AIRBNB ON MY LIST TO GO BACK TO . EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.

A truly five-star experience from start to finish! Our stay was absolutely incredible, and it was made possible by the beautiful house and the phenomenal staff. Adrianna was a great host the Airbnb was immaculate. Right near downtown we were an average of 5 minutes from every bar and restaurant we could have wanted to go the only thing to be thoughtful about is parking this location doesn’t offer much parking 1 car is fine 2 is a struggle super tight. The employees were great kept the house very clean we also used a chef that was recommended and he did a great job cooked and cleaned like no one was ever there. Our experience with this host was fantastic and would recommend for anyone who is interested in boating CR

The house itself was really nice and had everything we needed. Lots of bed space for our family. It’s located in a nice and quiet spot up the hill from town and maybe a 10-15 minute walk max to the beach, several places to stop for coffee or food along the way. We stayed here with a group of 11 and it was amazing! The house had so much room for everyone, and the pool was a total highlight—super clean, big, and right outside the bedrooms so you could roll out of bed and hop straight in.
The location was awesome too—an easy walk to tons of cafés and restaurants in Tamarindo. Having Maria cook us breakfast every morning was such a treat and made things so easy. And Adriana, the concierge, was incredible—always super responsive and helped us with anything we needed.
We’d 100% come back here in a heartbeat. Only tip: if you’re renting a car, make sure it’s 4-wheel drive since the entrance is steep and rocky. Totally worth it though for this place!

Overall I loved my stay it’s a beautiful home w/an amazing pool. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals that would come by every morning. Monkeys in the trees & iguanas eating flowers. The A/C worked great in all the rooms, the day we checked in it was a little difficult to find the other rooms. Didn’t realize it was 2 separate villas, they were connected in various areas of the house
The only cons were the sliding doors which the host knew about. We had difficulty closing them, we ended up just trying not to use them at all. Also on our 4th day villa 2 had no water pressure, so we all had to coordinate and use only villa 1 bathrooms. W/13 women we had to make sure to organize how & when we used the bathrooms. It was fixed the next day but we were already checking out
The house is on a hill, it was a bit to climb depending on your footwear since it’s dirt roads. The walk to town wasn’t far about 15 mins, plenty of restaurants nearby.

I simply cannot say enough good things about our stay at Villa Mot Mot. The home is beautiful, functional, and well stocked. What set this home apart is the service. Maria, the housekeeper, tended to our home from morning to late afternoon every day but Sunday. She cooked breakfast, made the kids virgin pina coladas, kept the house spotless, refreshed sheets daily, and washed and folded our laundry daily. Separately, our concierge Adriana made our vacation perfect. It was like having a travel agent on my side, but without the cost. She booked round trip transfers for 2 families on different days, the estuary tour, 2 days of surf lessons, the Rincón de la Victoria hike, and 2 days with a private chef. Plus she gave me a referral for golf carts (who knew what carts were needed for the villa) and helped have groceries stocked. All of her referrals were amazing - notably the surf lessons who taught our 4 year old to surf before he can even swim! Our trip was perfect thanks to them!

Villa Motmot was just what our family needed for our getaway. The location was beautiful, easily accessible, and walking distance to town. The home had all that we needed, with additional things we didn't know we needed. I really appreciated the daily housekeeping and other services that were available, including breakfast and snack preparation, cleaning, and even laundry (if requested and use of own cleaning supplies - which you can purchase at the local grocery store). Adriana, the concierge/host, was wonderful, responsive, and easily accessible throughout our stay. When I had a question or needed some last-minute activity booking, she was on it! Maria, our housekeeper, was exceptional! The maintenance crew that arrived to clean the pool (about twice during our week stay) and attend to the home were mindful; we often didn't even see them arrive but were pleasantly surprised when the yard and pool were clean without our knowing. I would definitely recommend you stay at Villa Motmot!

Beautiful property that had everything we needed and more. We loved our time hanging out at the pool, on the roof deck, and on the bocce court. We even enjoyed iguana and monkey sightings in the yard, and lots of bird watching from the roof deck. The villas were comfortable and clean. Adriana and team were super responsive to our needs. They were able to support us with airport transportation and had great recommendations for things to do in town. Highly recommend this property and host.
One thing to note is there are lots of stairs in the villas and a big hill to get to the property, just something to know for less mobile guests.

The concierge service provided by Adriana was exceptional. Actually the best service I have had. She coordinated 5 days of activities for us and a private chef. And was extremely flexible and accommodating as I had to make a few last minute changes.
And... the housekeeper, Maria, looked after absolutely everything for us. Amazing breakfasts every morning and a spotless villa to come back to at the end of every day.

We had a fantastic stay with Stay in Tamarindo. Adriana managed this property for us and she was fantastic. Any small question I would ask, she would help me with right away. Whether it was where to buy diapers or helping us book a last minute catamaran, she was there for us. The property was beautiful and convenient for our large group. The only downside is the construction in the neighbourhood - as it’s a very nice location a lot of people are choosing to build here. The noise actually wasn’t really an issue, but the road was horrible and extremely difficult to get in and out of with our infant as the bumps would throw her around the car seat. However, the views were spectacular and the staff was so lovely. The housekeeper, Maria, even cooked us the most delicious breakfast!

Much closer to town than we thought, a very easy walk. The house itself was beautiful, felt like a true oasis for our getaway. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all clean and welcoming. The living rooms were large. The 3 decks (on rooftop deck) were great hangout spots. The AC kept us nice and cool during our stay. Wifi was fast enough that we could work from our rooms. Pictures do not give it justice! The place is BEAUTIFUL and very spacious. Everything was super clean and Maria made AMAZING breakfast every morning and was flexible and willing to make things we bought. She also made the house spotless everyday which was wonderful. Highly recommend the elite service! Was so helpful to have the welcoming shuttle to and from the airport and the groceries already bought. The chef for dinner was also amazing and super sweet. The yard workers/pool cleaners were amazing as well and really kept the outside clean and ready to enjoy. Lastly, Adriana was soooo helpful and responsive for any and everything we needed during our stay from start to finish. I will definitely be booking with Stay in Tamarindo again!

I came for my birthday with family and friends and had an unforgettable experience. Adriana was an excellent host! She is very responsive and made our stay stress free. The concierge service was also very helpful. The house is as pictured. The location is nice for restaurants, dancing and beaches. I would stay here again!

The villa mot mot team was really great in making our stay comfortable and easy. Adriana our concierge was very responsive and accommodating and helped us book an ATV excursion with transportation from the Airbnb. Maria our housekeeper always made sure that we came home to an impeccably clean home, did laundry, and made breakfast in the mornings. The location is very close to town, less than a 5 minute car ride. You can walk but the road is pretty dusty and a bit long for the hot/humid Costa Rican summers, but with cars and the ample parking in front of the villa and in town we were able to get around easily and comfortably. The sunsets on the rooftop are incomparable. The villa really felt like we were in our own secret hideaway, very private. Highly recommend this place. We went as a big group with 8 adults and 3 young kids and a baby and we all fit comfortably and loved the space.

I have been to many Airbnbs and this is by far my favourite. Every room had big beds, A/C, a safe, and most are walk out right to the pool. There were four full baths and the water was hot even when all were in use.
It felt luxurious and modern, and Maria brought it to the next level with a tasty breakfast every day. Having a maid really allowed us to relax and enjoy the place, and she went above and beyond every day.
One of the lights flickered and Adriana had maintenance guys there in under half an hour. There was even a groundskeeper to clean the pool for us. Our stay in Tamarindo would not have been nearly as memorable without Stay in Tamarindo.
If you are looking at this review and wondering whether it’s worth it - book it!

We had a lovely stay at villa motmot, the house was plenty big enough for our group of 10. It’s basically a duplex that can connect on the bottom floor, so there are two living spaces. The roof was a great place to hang out while the sun set and the pool was very nice to get a break from the heat outside. Maria was lovely, it was great to have the floors cleaned every day and all the other daily cleaning she did. It definitely made our vacation more relaxing.

My 8 friends and I rented this villa for my birthday, and it turned out to be perfect to entertain, with easy access to the town. The host Adriana helped me book any excursions and shuttles, which was a huge help. Maria also made us the best breakfasts and to top it off, the view from the rooftop were my absolute favorite. I high recommend this stay for Tamarindo, Coat Rica.

Our stay at Villa Motmot was perfect. We loved every aspect of the property and had no troubles at all. When there were minor issues like AC showing an error code in one bedroom it was fixed very quickly. The actual home is beautiful, with plenty of space for even larger groups - we had 9 total and it was very easy and never once felt crowded. I'm sure it would be no trouble to have 12. Maria the housekeeper does an amazing job, breakfast is prepared exactly when you want it and is delicious. We opted to purchase our own groceries which was quite straightforward to do, with markets located less than 10 minutes away walking and only 1-2 minutes driving. Overall an outstanding stay, we would recommend to anyone and will definitely return on our next trip to Tamarindo.

We had an outstanding stay at Villa Motmot. It is a beautiful property, exactly as advertised. Very spacious - we had 9 adults - two couples and then 5 adult children, and it never felt even remotely crowded - everyone had plenty of space whether inside or around the pool.
Daily housekeeping from Maria is excellent. Breakfasts were prepared at the time we wanted (for us usually around 10 due to late risers. . ) and were delicious. We chose to purchase out own groceries and it was really pretty easy to do - nearest smaller markets are a 5-10 minute walk or a very quick drive. We would do smaller purchases on foot and for larger amounts would drive. We had one car between the 9 of us and that was fine (we weren't planning to leave Tamarindo). You could do it with no car, and even a golf cart isn't needed.
It's a quick walk to restaurants, markets and the beach - easy to do, and very safe.
Overall I thought Villa Motmot was definitely worth the money and would come back.

We stayed here with 6 couples total and had an amazing time. The villas matched the descriptions - they were clean, the rooms were spacious, and included many amenities. It was nice to have 2 villas (connected by the downstairs and balcony) with so much space. The pool and rooftop were used many times. The location is a less than 10 minute walk to downtown and the beach but I would recommend renting a golf cart the entire stay - the Airbnb is located on a hill and it also gets extremely hot and humid during the day - walking is doable but not fun! It was amazing to have Maria there to tidy up the house and prepare breakfast for us. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb as well as Stay in Tamarindo concierge services. Could not recommend Villa MotMot enough! We were a group of ten and it was plenty spacious. The Villa is extremely clean, and Maria’s daily cleaning services are a great bonus. The pool and patio are great hang out spots during the day, with the beach and town being a short drive away as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was awesome. We had six couples at the house and the house worked perfectly for us. The house is only about 10 minutes walk to the beac. The kitchens were great, and the living rooms for plenty large enough for all of us. And the swimming pool was also amazing, just like the rooftop to watch the sunsets. But by far the best part of our rental was Maria. Maria was our housekeeper each day from about 8 AM to 4 PM. She made the most amazing breakfast, great snacks and cocktails, and kept the house, miraculously clean. Maria alone is by far the best part of renting the house.

This Villa was amazing!! The house had enough room for our whole family of 7 guests. Central AC upstairs, individual AC units in the room, separate areas and a very nice pool/backyard. The first morning we woke up to monkeys in the trees so definitely beautiful wildlife. The beach is about a 10-15min walk although I recommend renting a golf cart as the villa is a on a hill. Grocery store is 5 mins walk down the street and the Calle Central had bars, restaurants and shops. I would recommend staying here, the Hosts Adrianna and Cristina were very accommodating and quick to plan our day and boat trips!

This place is exactly like the description and the photos: don't think twice and just book! You won't be disappointed. Extremely clean and super spacious. Our favorite part of this stay was, hands down, the breakfast preparation. We followed the recommended grocery list, which allows the cook to prepare a traditional Costa Rican feast. Don't skimp on the tropical fruit! The food was better than a lot of the other traditional Costa Rican food we ate at other restaurants and sodas around Tamarindo and La Fortuna! Gracias Lupe y Maria!
We also liked the individual AC units in each bedroom, and the roof which (because the house is also up on a hill) was a great place to hang out around sunset with the view and the breeze.

Nos quedamos un grupo de 9, 2 familias y todo estuvo super bien. En especial, quiero resaltar el servicio que nos ofreció María, la “house keeper”, con sus ricos desayunos, recomendaciones asertivas, amabilidad y respeto para todos, hizo la gran diferencia en nuestra estadía, 💯😊. Estamos super agradecidos de sus servicios, durante esos 4 días . Nos sentimos super bien con ella.
La casa esta super linda , cómoda y muy bien equipada, tenia de todo, hasta un BBQ que fue un plus. La casa es bien grande, que tiene dos apto/casas iguales en una misma estructura, pero lo perfecto hubiese sido que las dos salas estuvieran conectadas, como si fuera una sola, pero no estuvo mal. Las habitaciones, que están en el primer piso conectan y por supuesto la terraza es compartida. La decoración también está muy linda. Los a/c funcionan bien y las camas están ok.
La piscina fue perfecta, especialmente para cuando llegábamos de las playas. En realidad la casa esta bastante cerca de la playa y del area de bares y restaurantes, que se puede llegar caminando. Uno de los días, coordinamos para unos masajes en la misma casa y nos fue super.
El contacto con Adriana, la “Host”de igual forma fue estupendo, siempre atenta. La casa provee estacionamiento para un vehículo, pero al frente de la casa dejamos el otro sin ningún inconveniente.
Lo único a mencionar, fue que durante nuestro estadía el personal del mantenimiento del patio estuvo laborando y aunque ese día estuvimos casi todo el día fuera de la casa, no fue inconveniente; pero si hubiésemos estado allí disfrutando de la piscina, sí lo hubiese sido; pero por otro lado estamos seguros que si lo hablábamos con Maria o Adriana se hubiese resuelto.
En fin, si regresamos a Tamarindo, volvería a quedarme allí. Bien recomendada y muy lindo el lugar. Gracias por todo.

The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the cherry on top of this perfect rental was Maria, who tidied up every day so we had fresh towels and made beds, and prepared us breakfast every morning. Excellent villa very close to many of the tourist spots in Tamarindo. Take a 10 min walk to town or a 5 mins motorbike ride. The host was very accommodating and the villa was breath taking and peaceful. Would highly recommend this villa.

VillaMotMot was the perfect retreat in the bustling town of Tamarindo. We stayed with friends for our friends for my wife’s 30th bday and it was incredible. The house was clean, the rooms were amazing and the AC was much appreciated. The pool was cleaned daily. The house was very secure (the locking system is a bit complicated but they provided thorough instructions.) We watched the sunset from the rooftop every night and had night swims every night. The house is a short walk from town which was nice because it felt private and quiet when we needed it but heads up that the hill at the end is a bit steep and if you rent golf carts they may not make it up. We walked it many times though and had no problem. The host also helped us book airport transport and a boat which was very helpful.

The house was very large and accommodating split into connected mirror images of each other. Two full enormous kitchens/living/dining-rooms, all bedrooms downstairs etc however the second floor desk patio connects the places as well as the rooftop lounge. The bottom floor pool was with plenty of sun and places to lay out and relax. There is a full foodstore about a 7-10 minute walk where we bought a ton of food to cook and grill on BBQ at the house, but downtown Tamarindo was also very close. About 15 minutes to the furtherest parts of the beach and restaurant scene. Our stay was wonderful with a very modern building. Would highly recommend!

Our family has lived in the Tamarindo area for a little over four years, so we know the town very well. When we had a large group of friends and family all decide to come and visit at the same time, we knew that we would need accommodations that would not only fit all of us, but also be something special so that my husband and I would get to enjoy our mini "staycation" there also. Villa MotMot exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The house is divided into two connecting halves, each with its own kitchen and living room, so ostensibly smaller groups could rent just half, but it made for a spacious home away from home for our group, so that we never felt crowded and everyone had room to spread out and breathe! The decorations and amenities were top notch and the furniture high quality and incredibly comfortable. The house lacked nothing as far as what one would need for a comfortable stay, including gorgeous bedding, plenty of towels, toiletries, two fully-equipped kitchens, washer & dryer, a large barbecue grill, gorgeous pool with stunning multicolored lights when dark, and beautifully manicured grounds with a variety of local fruit trees and flowering bushes. A favorite spot for us each afternoon was the roof top terrace which had a breathtaking view of the sunset and comfortable seating for sunset drinks as well! The location was an easy five minute walk to where the night market is held, and a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to town center and the beach. All in all, a fantastic stay, and Adriana, the Stay in Tamarindo rep could not have been more helpful and gracious with our requests. Our friends and family had a relaxing and unforgettable stay at Villa MotMot and are still raving about it weeks later. Let's just say we are hoping to make it a yearly tradition going forward!

We felt super comfortable in Villa MotMot. It is a super nice, modern house, with pool, roof terrace with sea view and amenities that leave nothing to be desired. We especially liked the open kitchen. Who loves to cook with friends will love this kitchen and the open living room. The garden, with its wonderful plants, the papaya trees and the colorful birds and monkeys that you can easily watch from the terrace is also a dream. Enjoying fresh organic papayas before jumping into the pool is just wonderful.We loved enjoying the sunset on the rooftop terrace with a glass of wine. The whole sustainable concept is terrific and we will definitely see you again. Thank you so much for these fantastic days.

My stay in Villa Motmot was just great!! Its a modern place, newly built, big garden to relax, nice pool with some cool iguanas and other animals like colibris to see! The hang out zone on the terraze is great to have some barbecues. And the view from the second terraze is just WOW. We have seen some spectacular sunsets over the ocean from there. I love that it was a very quiet neighborhood, besides the fact that inside you do not hear anything from the outside. Also to mention is the fast and stable internet connection - as I work from home it was a big plus!! Communication was also very fast and easy. I will definately come again!!

Villa Motmot exceeds all expectations! After traveling throughout Costa Rica`s rich, colorful and extraordinary flora and fauna we - a group of 10 people – found great relaxation in this recently finished Villa Motmot. We were really overwhelmed by this luxurious site with its beautiful house, pool and garden. The Villa consists of two separate units which can be shared by a group up to 12 persons and is located in the middle of a small nature paradise on a small hill walking distance to the beach as well as Tamarindo downtown. All 6 bedrooms consist of Kingsize beds and 4 of them offer direct access to the large pool. The two kitchens of each unit are fully equipped and so we enjoyed preparing and eating breakfast, lunch or dinner together either at one of the tables within the 2 living rooms or in the evening on the beautiful terrace. Here is to be added that on the large and comfortable outdoor gas grill/barbecue we prepared also fresh fish as well plenty of yummy vegetable. Not to forget the roof terrace with its breath taking view onto Tamarindo and the pacific ocean which was the preferred place for the revelers. Above us the infinite starry sky stretched out and we enjoyed watching out with a glass of white or sparkling wine at night time. At daytime birds and other animals could be seen and observed as the variety of plants, trees with its colorful and rich blossoms attract many different species and make them feel at home there. So the garden is a real highlight of the site. The early birds of our group took advantage to dive into the large pool and began their day by doing laps as a training unit before breakfast. The pool is supplied by a salt water disinfection plant which makes the water softer and better bearable for the skin. We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much also to Adriana and her team of Stay in Tamarindo who were helping us whenever we had questions or queries to be solved. All in all a great vacation in the beautiful Villa Motmot which we can recommend without hesitation. PURA VIDA, as the Ticos say. We will surely come back!

Villa MOTMOT is a luxury residence combining 2 separate houses and one swimming pool in an ideal way for larger groups of people staying there. Very impressive are the living rooms on either side with very high room height and large window opening to a combined terrace with a view onto the Pacific Ocean. It also offers a Roof terrace with even a better view on Tamarindo and the surrounding/ocean. You can enjoy watching birds in the trees kept and planted on the large property.The house and kitchen equipment offers everything you can think of and want to have access to during a vacation stay, very modern bathrooms, nice wooden dining table, comfortable pool loungers, large gas grill/barbecue, where we enjoyed our freshly prepared fish and shrimp. Quite impressive are also the pictures on the walls conveying the colorful diversity of Costa Rica and PURA VIDA !! We enjoyed our stay very much and can firmly recommend the house to other guests looking for luxury residences able to take larger groups of people.

Villa MotMot is a large, modern, bright and beautiful house. It is ideal for families or larger groups. The garden is very nicely laid out and has a very spacious pool. You can watch birds in the garden and the stars on the sky terrace. Villa Mot Mot is very well equipped and lovingly furnished. The location is ideal. The beach, restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk away. The house is elevated in a quiet area. We were in November with 10 people in the house and felt very comfortable, I give it 5 stars. I had a stay in Villa Motmot in October and I have to say, that this was surely the most beautiful accomodation I enjoyed during my vacation in Costa Rica. The house is of amazing quality with lots of nice little details which make a stay super comfortable. A large and superbly equipped kitchen area, a stylish and comfortable living room with a huge TV set and large terraces make it a great experience. The bedrooms are all equipped with TV and king size beds and it is a pleasure to wake up looking at the blue of the swimming pool and the green of the well maintained and beautiful garden, with humming birds dancing from blossom to blossom. The location is not too far away from the beach, I rented a bike at a nice place called "Handlebar" (can recommend it for great beer), and using the bike it takes just 5 minutes to the sea. The advantage of being in the second row is to have a lot of privacy in a quiet neighborhood and you can relax perfectly after a day at the beach or in the nature on the fabulous terraces with an amazing view over the Langosta area. I just loved the sunsets, drinking a good red wine - what else do you need? Whenever I travel again to Costa Rica I will make sure I'll have some days at Villa Motmot. Thanks also to the lovely people of Stay in Tamarindo who were always of excellent help and care, adding their hospitality for a perfectly organized stay.

The entire travel group enjoyed the tranquility, nature, garden and pool area at Villa Motmot. The sky terrace was a preferred place for star gazers and bird spotters among us as we were eye to eye with parrots and many other beautiful birds from there. We also enjoyed sunsets over the ocean from there. The living room and kitchen areas did fit with all our requirements (joined cooking & relaxing) and the grill outside was used every night. Bedrooms have very comfortable King size mattresses and plenty of space regardless if people used the pool-sided bedrooms or the 2 in the back. City and beach are in walking distance. The garden is a little paradise, full of fruit trees, attracting humming birds and other animals. And we used the Petanque & Boccia place to play some games, very nice under a shadowing tree! All in all, Villa Motmot was for us the perfect combination to enjoy the nature and beach of Tamarindo. It was surely not the last time for us at this beautiful place!
