Adriana was the absolute best! She was so responsive and kind with all of my messages and emails prior to checking in as well as during the stay. The stay itself was absolutely stunning and great for groups (especially groups with couples)!!! The pool with the view was our favorite part but only a step ahead from every other aspect of the stay. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

This house is absolutely beautiful. We had a large group of 12 (6 couples) and it never felt crowded. The individual rooms with ensuites were perfect. There is not a bad room to choose. They all have beautiful views and are very clean. The pool area is spectacular. The sunset every night was just incredible. The kitchen and bar area are well stocked. Lisseth is the lady that comes and cleans and is happy to help you with anything. Recommend you let her cook for you everything she made was delicious. She made us breakfast several times and lunch a couples days too. Quesadillas, guacamole, ceviche, guacamole, and salsa picante. The road going up to the house is pretty rough. So if you are renting a car listen to all the reviews you need a 4x4. Adriana was amazing to deal with. She responded very timely to all of our questions and had great suggestions. All twelve of us loved our time at Puesta del Sol and hope to be back soon. If you are looking at this house do not hesitate. Pura Vida

The house was perfect for our multi-generational family and very well appointed. The housekeeper and chef, Lisseth made it so special and gave us memorable and delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks. Everything was top notch and well planned. Casa Puesta del Sol is an absolute dream ! Once at the house, you never want to leave. I went with a few friends for a bachelor party and it was perfect for the occasion. The indoor/outdoor design is perfect to enjoy the Costa Rican weather. We hung out between the pool/lounge and kitchen area the majority of the time. The individual casitas with their own en-suite bathrooms was perfect for our occasion. The cleaning crew was very nice and came everyday without us even noticing them. One of the ladies saw me cleaning and even offered to help make breakfast which was very nice. The house is beautifully situated on top of a hill with unobstructed views. The one thing to consider: if you are driving a rental car, make sure to get a 4x4 (AWD) because it is a steep winding, unpaved road to the top! We took Ubers everywhere so it was not an issue for us personally.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Puesta Del Sol! A group of six couples stayed for the week and we each had our private casitas and a large community space where we ate breakfast, played games, and spent a lot of time in the pool.
The view from Puesta Del Sol is incredible, you can see the beach, ocean, forests, and beautiful sunsets. We made it a point to get back to the house in time each night to watch the sunset.
Lisset was incredible. She made our stay so comfortable and smooth, and she was so kind and helpful. She makes AMAZING food! She cooked us breakfast in the mornings and we hired her for two evenings to make dinner after long excursion days and the meals were fantastic. Cris was very helpful with getting our itinerary planned. She set us up with very fun excursions (we highly recommend the waterfall combo tour!) and was very responsive and helpful with general questions throughout our planning process.

I brought 6 dads for a guys trip and she helped me set up my activities and provided me with contacts to stock the fridge and prepare meals and even coordinated our side-by-sides. My experience at Casa Puesta del Sol was top notch. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, the rooms are very comfortable and private. Lisseth not only makes the most delicious guacamole I have every had, but she also embodies warmth and love like none other. Cris was easy to communicate with and took care of every last detail efficiently and with precision. The sunset boat cruise was phenomenal, the zip-lining (SO much fun), and the massages we booked through her were a dream. Can't wait to return in June to host a retreat at this hilltop oasis.

Puesta del Sol was an extraordinary home. It's even better in person versus the pics online. The layout of the house is perfect for groups. Each of the 6 casitas are separate and private. The common living area was large and beautiful. The pool views were to die for. The pool was so refreshing after a day out. Lizzeth, the housekeeper, made the best breakfasts for our group. She made several different items for us daily without any hesitation. She cooked for us one night, and that was even more delicious. She kept everything around the house tidy, which is no small feat with 7 teens with us. Cris was such a huge help. She set up all of our transportation, excursions, same day restaurant reservations for all 13 of us. Every restaurant she picked was amazing. She helped coordinate the side by sides we rented. The grocery delivery from Pangas that she helped facilitate was truly so easy. They set everything up in the house prior to our arrival with a beautiful display. I couldn't recommend this house and company more! Thank you for a trip that will be remembered forever!

This property worked great for our family. We brought our 3 adult kids and a future son-in-law and this property allowed for privacy for everyone plus a great main building for our meals and hanging out. We visited from a cold/snowy area and waking up with morning coffee on the patio by the pool overlooking the ocean was a slice of paradise. My favorite part was the great breakfasts Lisseth made us each morning.

The layout is perfect as each group gets their own little casita with all the amenities of a standard hotel room plus a gorgeous view from every room. It is up on top of a hill that gives unobstructed views of the ocean from almost every angle. We spent almost all of our time at the home, in the pool and enjoying the view. When we did venture to the beach, it was 0.5M away though I highly recommend renting a UTV to conquer the hill to the home. Cris the concierge can help you rent one and they deliver it, which was perfect. There is construction going on next door to the home but we barely heard it as we used the house's built in Sonos systems to pump music through the property. Lisseth was out housemom and she was wonderful, kind and makes the best guac in the world. My guests raved and want to go back to the exact same home next year.

The Villa was spotless upon our arrival. The private pool, outdoor deck and views were too die for, absolutely amazing. However, the hill to the top is treacherous, no matter the weather. Even worse in the rain. My group got stuck quite a few times on rainy nights and it was terrifying. I do not recommend trying to drive yourself up that hill. The concierge team was a great help. I worked with Cristina for the most part and she was a life saver for piecing things together without your presence. She was always available via whatsapp and made changes quickly when we needed them. She pre-scheduled all our transportation so that was very helpful. She also helped plan my birthday dinner offsite with a few extras, balloons, cake, etc.. She did an amazing job! Last but not least, Lisseth, the house mom. We hired her for chef services for the week. I'm speechless. Every meal was prepared at the time we agreed upon, cooked fresh and tasted great. It kept getting better. She even prepared mid-day snacks and fresh pico and guacamole. If you are considering a chef at this property, absolutely hire Lisseth. I would highly recommend staying at Puesta Del Sol.

This is a gorgeous property with an awesome ocean view. The pictures on the website are great, but can't translate the actual beauty of this home. The six seperate casitas accommodated our party of eleven comfortably with room to spare. Daily housekeeping, with the exception of Sundays, is definitely a bonus. Adriana, the host, was easily accessible and was available to promptly answer any and all questions regarding the property. Cristina, the concierge, was AWESOME!!! She went above and beyond to answer ALL our questions and coordinate our airport transportation and excursions. She had everything set up for us upon arrival which made our stay in Costa Rica GREAT. This property is definitely a 10 out of 10. When I visit again, I will definitely choose this property.

This place has one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. I booked this Airbnb for 11 of my friends and it was more than plenty of room. I really liked that all the bedrooms were in separate buildings unattached from the main kitchen/living room area so that everyone could have their own space at the end of a long day. The housekeeper was AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about her. Our group was too tired after the first day of arrival and we left out all the decorations for the bachelorette celebration. The next morning after we came back from our excursion, we found all our decorations were set up and beautifully placed so that we didn’t have to end up doing it ourselves. She even made us food and left it in the fridge for us! Everyday our rooms were clean and fresh. Our coordinators and concierge, Cris and Adriana, were also very responsive and accommodating to every email and helping us with anything we needed. The private shuttle driver that Cris booked for us to get from and to the airport was also very sweet ; he would stop for us to get food to eat and wait patiently even when he did not have to. I would say the only thing is you would definitely need a car or a golf cart to get up and down the house because the roads to there is up a steep hill. Also, some of the rooms did have a little bit of the flooding from one night but that was due to the heavy rain which Adriana had people come to resolve the issue the very next morning. Thank you for the amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this place in the future!

You can’t find many better views in Tamarindo than this house and the company is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. The setup is excellent for big families or several couples as you have your own little casitas but also have the main area to hang out in when you want. The hill is very steep but we enjoyed our daily hike in the morning as part of our exercise for the day. We rented some UTV’s to navigate the rest of the time or you could get a truck/SUV if you prefer that. The house itself could be a great gathering to just hang out there with the chef each day or cook your own meals the house is worth the stay. The team at stay in Tamarindo couldn’t have been better, they’re so thorough with every part of the process and were able to assist with any activity that we wanted to do! Excellent time

There’s six individual bungalows for guests to sleep (some with 2 beds), that includes a full bath, television and access to all the viewing apps like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc., full temperature controls for your room as well. The main house is so big and a beautiful place to gather during the day with friends and family. All the high end comforts of a 5 star resort. Amazing views of the countryside and the ocean. Great outdoor area with a pool! The concierge service that was included is priceless!!! They helped me organize transportation pick up to and from the airport, chef service for our entire 4 day trip, dinner reservations, taxi pick ups, excursions, a bartender, and so much more!! The young lady that was part of housekeeping was so sweet and helpful with everything we asked and she provided our chef service and did some many extras from making coffee whenever we asked to adding meals and snacks that were not originally included, she also did runs to the grocery store as needed.
And this place is absolutely beautiful!! We felt so safe here. The pictures don’t even tell the full story of how nice this place is!! We’ll absolutely be back!

Our stay here was incredible and we didn’t want it to end. My favorite part was the pool and the gorgeous views of the coast line from the property. The beds were very comfortable, the WiFi worked well, the breakfast that the staff made for us every morning was delicious, and the house had everything we needed for us to have a comfortable stay. This is one you have to see and stay at for yourself to know just how amazing this place is. I definitely plan on coming back.

Had a great stay at Casa Puesta Del Sol. The property had a great layout and was very comfortable. The hill and distance to get down to the main road was a bit much but the view and overall property was worth it. Since it is so far up the hill it is very quiet and away from all the people in town. The power went out a few times but it wasn't that big of a deal and seems to be normal in the area. Cris, the concierge was great and extremely responsive. Lizzeth, the housekeeper was fantastic as well, especially with preparing breakfast. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

We were able to book last minute and our Concierge Cris made sure our stay was seamless and we had everything we needed and more. When we arrived we were shocked at the breathtaking views of the ocean and the Villa arrangement was perfect for our group to enjoy spending time together for meals and in the infinity pool, yet the individual rooms were separate which was so nice for everyone to have their own space. My stay was incredible! I traveled with a group of 13 individuals from the USA, it was our first time in Costa Rica and everything was spectacular. The stay has a great view from all ends; not to mention it’s modern take in terms of decor and style. The home has 6 separate villas which gives the group more personal space and time. We were also offered a concierge and housemaid with our booking which is a great add on! It felt like a high-end hotel. Overall, our stay could not have been better.

The only negative I can think of is the access road, which is steep and deteriorated. Walking back from town is a SERIOUS workout and I’d say not possible for most. Frankly, it’s a struggle to navigate it even in a car, so plan to drive whenever exploring. All-in-all, it’s a spectacular house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The views from the house are amazing. The common area with kitchen and dining room was well appointed with a huge dining room table suitable for the six couples that stayed. The six individual bedrooms with private bathrooms in separate buildings provided a nice amount of privacy for each couple. We had a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but they were handled quickly and effectively. The road up to the house from town is a winding mountain road / trail with areas of gravel, pavers and dirt. We walked it a few times, but in the afternoon heat it is quite the hike. Definitely recommend a car, UTV or gas powered golf cart. The town of Tamarindo has plenty of bars and restaurants with easy access to the beach. It would be nice if they would limit access jewelry/whistle/ceramic peddlers to certain areas. We expected it on the beach, but they also walk through all restaurants and solicit while you are dining. It is a very nice property that was perfect for our group of 12.

We had the most amazing experience at this property, we had troubles saying goodbye to it at the end of our stay. We all agreed that we have never seen views this beautiful. On top of this, Lisseth the housekeeper/chef kept it sparkly clean, and went above and beyond to make the entire stay stress and hassle free. All of the meals we had with her were incredible. We loved our time here and would love to come back

That was by far one of the best trips I've ever taken. Surfed 5 days straight and had the most comfortable amenities to come home to in between outings. It was one of those vacations where the accommodations are so nice, you don't even feel bad about not leaving the house because you know you're more relaxed and looked after there. Just above and beyond in terms of quality.

This space truly is the best Tamarindo. The main family area feels like a high-class lobby of a major resort. The views from the dining room table can literally be stared at the entire day. Or you can sit out by the pool experience the amazing weather. The individual bedrooms truly made this place special. Full security with cameras around the entire property.
You truly are at the top of large hill, so buy your groceries in one trip and it's definitely best to rent a car through them.

Fantastic house with incredible 180 degree views. Truly breathtaking. Stay in Tamarindo is a professional service that took care of all our adventure needs. Highly recommend. This brand new property is incredible in every way. The pool area has one of the best views in town, and we were there from morning coffee until bedtime. Gorgeous sunsets! The home is very comfortable and separate cottages gave us all some welcome privacy after traveling together for a week. The drive up the hill is challenging at first and a car is necessary, but you get used to it quickly. The Concierge was able to get us a last minute ATV experience with pickup at the house in less than 2 hours. Maid service was efficient and breakfast was delicious. We were so spoiled and sad to leave. Great experience!
