This property was gorgeous!! It was like our own little resort. There were 5 couples that have travelled together for over 10 years and we loved this house. You could all gather together in the kitchen, great room, outdoor patio yet still have your privacy in your bedroom suite. Ishmael and Lourdes take care of the property and they were simply wonderful and so kind! Collin was the concierge and he was very helpful and responded very quickly to any question or reservation that we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Casa Serena was a beautiful property and great fit for our group of 10. Ismael went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable at the house. He and his wife were there every morning and kept the house immaculate. They even drove is into Tamarindo one afternoon and had lunch with us at their favorite soda. Collin was very responsive to our inquiries and helped us with reservations and transportation. We would definitely stay at Casa Serena again. This was our 4th time in Costa Rica and we will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Serena. The house has a fabulous pool and ocean front location. The married couple who maintain the property for a few hours each morning could not be nicer. We’ll absolutely be back.

Incredible vacation! First of all, the home is immaculate. We saw sea turtles, howler monkeys, iguanas, & kiskadee’s everyday of our trip…right in our backyard!!! Everything is kept in pristine condition. Ismael, the grounds manager, knows every square inch of the property and is on-site each morning to check on the property and assure the guests have everything they need. Miriam was an essential part of making our trip perfect! Any time we had a question, she provided us with an answer in seconds. She organized our catering, helped us with renting a golf cart, helped us with horseback riding sessions, and booked our transportation needs. Having people like Miriam & Ismael (& Ismael’s wife with housekeeping) made this trip truly feel like a vacation for us. We were able to relax on this trip unlike any place we’ve been before. We will return again for sure. Pura Vida!

What a beautiful home! All the bedrooms are spacious. The back porch, pool and the views are stunning. It was like our own private beach house. Very secluded area and not too many houses near by. Very clean and very well maintained. Excellent service! The house is a 20-30 drive from Tamarindo. We did not mind the drive. Our favorite restaurant was the DragonFly! I would definitely recommend this house if luxury, privacy and relaxing by the pool is what you are looking for!

What a beautiful home! All the bedrooms are spacious. The back porch, pool and the views are stunning. It was like our own private beach house. Very secluded area and not too many houses near by. Very clean and very well maintained. Excellent service! The house is a 20-30 drive from Tamarindo. We did not mind the drive. Our favorite restaurant was the DragonFly! I would definitely recommend this house if luxury, privacy and relaxing by the pool is what you are looking for!

The house was fantastic and was just as pictured and described. The Pool was wonderful and the views of the sunsets were beautiful. Ismail and his wife were helpful and professional. They took great pride in the house and and how they treated their guests. I can’t say enough about them. There were a couple of minor issues (to be expected) but they were able to resolve. Our concierge, Mariam, was also helpful in arranging any activities requested along with giving needed advice/recommendations. The beach was rocky so swimming was somewhat limited but would say, enthusiastically, we would recommend the house and all the people that help support our incredible vacation. Great work!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Casa Serena. The house is amazing. It is on a private beach and the sunsets are just priceless. We also loved using the Sonos speakers throughout the house, which guests can hook up to their phones with Bluetooth. The house is very well-designed for everyone to have a beautiful bedroom and private bath (they are private suites). We have 4 adult sons and two daughter-in-laws and there was plenty of space for all of us. The beds are very comfortable. The living area is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for dinners. Casa Serena is a stunning property and our family agreed that it was the nicest we have ever stayed at. The caretakers of the house, Ishmael and Lourdes, took amazing care of us during our stay. They kept the house clean, and they were such a big help with groceries and answering questions for us. Mariam from Stay in Tamarindo was also amazing. She made all our arrangements for adventures while we were there and made sure our trip went smoothly. 😃 Anytime we needed a reservation or a question answered, she was there. We absolutely loved this house and our Stay in Costa Rica…. We would love to return to Casa Serena soon. Our family had a wonderful time staying at Casa Serena. The house is amazing. It is on a private beach and the sunsets are just priceless. Watching the sunset each evening from the pool was a highlight (I must have taken 100 pictures). The pool and outdoor bbq, bar area, and lounges are great for hanging out with the family. Casa Serena was even more beautiful and amazing in person than it was in pictures! It was absolutely perfect for our family of 5! (My husband, daughter, son and daughter-in-law). It is impeccably maintained and has excellent amenities. The most fabulous of the amenities is the gorgeous and scenic pool area! I would have been happy to stay there the whole week. My son and daughter-in-law enjoyed being able to snorkel on our own beach with the equipment provided at Casa Serena. The workout room at Casa is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a private home and was greatly enjoyed my husband and daughter. We rented a car for the week and it was necessary for going into Tamarindo for excursions, dinner and beautiful sunsets. If you plan on having meals at the Casa (and really, why leave?), I recommend driving to Villa Real to the Super Mega. It is by far the best grocery that we found. We also rented a golf cart for the week and it was great to have to get around the community. The beach club is a short ride away. We drove to the club and walked to Lola’s for lunch a couple of days. The food and atmosphere are great there. It’s an enjoyable 20-minute walk, but you have to be aware of the tide schedule so that you don’t get marooned. You can also access Playa Langosta beach within the HP community. If you get lucky, you may just see monkeys on the drive. Lastly, I can’t say enough about how Ishmael and his wife Loudes took such great care of the property and us. This was truly a 5 star dream vacation!

If you want to get a workout in while in vacation, the gym has everything you could possibly need. The air conditioners work better than any other property I have ever rented in Costa Rica. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you could need. The staff is amazing and helpful. Lourdes and Ismael kept the place spotless for us and answered every question we had and addressed all of our needs. Mariam was at our beck and call throughout our stay and made all of our arrangements for us so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. I am always skeptical renting on the internet. I was pleasantly relived to find that everything that was advertised was exactly as stated if not better. I will stay at Casa Serena again as soon as possible. Do not pass on this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
