This trip had been the most amazing trip. The Airbnb was so beautiful. I had no complaints about anything in the Airbnb. The view was unmatchable, the pool was so amazing and clean, the kitchen had everything needed to make a perfect meal and the communication of the host was very consistent. I believe this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at and definitely will be back for another stay in the future. Thank you.

The house felt like home and was close to town. Very happy with how clean it was. Adriana was a great help and assist us with different arrangements of tours and services. I’d recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet private area to stay in.

Home was absolutely breathtaking. proximity to restaurants, bars, etc. made everything convenient. Host was responsive and helpful. If there was anything I would have liked improved was house keeping. House keeping came to clean after request but did not provide new towels or wash the old towels. We washed our own towels but it's a small inconvenience with all of the other positives.

Fabulous house in a beautiful gated community. House was larger than expected and hosted our group of 6 adults easily. Kitchen was well appointed, laundry on site, responsive host. Views were spectacular overlooking the ocean, had to drive down to the beach, but we actually preferred sitting up on this hilltop. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had the most incredible week at Casa Lomas del Mar that exceeded any expectations we had! The ocean views are incredible during the day and the sunsets never disappoint. Each bedroom is beautifully and practically designed to make you feel entirely at home. The main areas of the house are open and welcoming so that a large group of 8 adults could easily each have their own space to relax and enjoy themselves. I can't say enough about the infinity pool - perfect size and view!! The outdoor space is a combination of lounge chairs, outdoor couches and covered space that pleases anyone looking for either sun or shade. We loved being so close to town and enjoyed many meals out at the local restaurants and a variety of excursions like boat tours, shopping, beach walks and markets. If you are looking for a must-stay location in Tamarindo - this is it!

Amazing home in an equally amazing location! Spectacular and unique views of the ocean and the Estuary -- morning, noon, sunset, and night. Spacious living areas, beautiful infinity pool, plenty of privacy, large outdoor area for lounging and entertaining and taking in the magnificent views and enjoying the occasional monkeys traversing the trees. Added bonus was the detached bedroom for the couple that wanted some "alone time", In short - it doesn't get better than this. We will be back!

This house was amazing. The view from the pool was spectacular. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The concierge was fabulous. When we went, we did not need bug spray- I noticed several people posting this but there weren't any bugs. The monkeys stopped by for a visit. We were a group of 8 in our 50-60's and the hill wasn't a concern to walk (and I'm not in great shape). We'd head into town for the morning, spend the afternoons in the pool and into town for dinner. So many great restaurants in town! I will definitely stay at Casa Lomas del Mar again! Fantastic place.

The most amazing home to stay at! The sunsets were spectacular and there were views from every room in the house! The pool was perfect to cool off in and the outdoor shower allowed you to rinse off outside if you were at the beach. The house had everything we needed and more. Cristina was fantastic in helping to organize tours and groceries! Location was perfect, easy access to beach, and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here, you will love every second of it!

If you are looking for a well appointed home with stunning views, a great pool and open, gathering spaces inside and out.... you've found it! This spacious home offers a fantastic layout with four bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. The views are panoramic and absolutely spectacular. We spent most of our time on the outdoor patios (there are several) and in the infinite pool, The sunset views over the ocean are beautiful. This home is well located. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within a two - five minute drive. The howler monkeys came swinging through the trees several times during our stay, which was neat to see. Communication with the property manager was excellent if you have any questions. We utilized Uber to go into Tamarindo for dinner.

My husband and I spent a week at Casa Lomas del Mar with 3 other couples. The house is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. It is located in a gated community in Tamarindo. We enjoyed the many spectacular views, jumping the waves, and shopping. Our favourite view was the day that a large group of howler monkeys visited the property for the day. We ventured out on the town every night to many different restaurants which were all a different experience. Tamarindo offered fine dining on the beach at Pangas and in town at Dragonfly. If you are looking for fantastic food as well as drinks, I strongly recommend the Hidden Garden restaurant. If you are looking for a more casual night out that offers good fish tacos and live entertainment, I suggest that you make your way to Longboards. We finished our week with a grand finale which was a day trip on a private catamaran! Pura vida❤️

This property comfortably fits four couples and has a great kitchen as well as an infinity pool that is second to none. This is my 4th time staying here. The privacy, the pool, the views, and the stunning house are beyond compare. One day, we had over 15 howler monkeys right outside the front door for hours- including 3 little babies. This is the only place I will stay when I am in Tamarindo. The concierge service is always great to work with arranging shuttles etc...

Lovely place to stay for a group of adults! Pool was awesome and the sunlight hitting the pool in the afternoon is lovely on a sunny day. The trees and view of the beach are a big plus. Wifi isn’t super strong in all areas of the home but honestly didn’t bother us as we were on vacation and not working.

The house is as pictured and the sunset is amazing every evening. THE HILL IS REAL!! Believe the reviews. The only disclaimer is that one of four bedrooms are detached from the main home. This would be ok for larger groups, but my group was of five women. We all just decided to leave this room vacant and sleep inside for safety.
Cris is amazing!!! She set up all of our excursions and connected me with a chef for a birthday breakfast! 10/10 recommend! We ran into issues later in the trip and everyone was very understanding. Me and my friends can’t thank you enough. I will be back!

The pictures do not do the home justice. The home is beautiful, and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need to cook. Having the pool was an added benefit that we used daily. If you decide to hire a private Chef, please ask for Chef Giovanna. She did a great job accommodating my wife and I. She worked with us on creating a menu that was custom made just for us, and the food was delicious. We truly enjoyed our honeymoon. The only negatives we experienced, were due to the insects while trying to enjoy some of our dinners. I do, however, understand that this is a tropical environment so some of that is to be expected. Any other issues we had were quickly resolved by the wonderful property manager and concierge; who might I add was on vacation, but still willing to help us out with anything we needed. Tip: rent a side by side to get around the property, as it is very hilly and will allow you to go out sight seeing.

The house is beautiful with stunning views of the ocean. It is minutes away from the town of Tamarindo, but note that it is high up on a steep hill and therefore, not driveable into town or the nearby beaches.

Casa Lomas del Mar is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay there very much. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen, beach towels, and bathroom necessities. We had a few logistical issues and the management company was very quick to address these which was great. I appreciated the services of the concierge. The view is amazing. The pool is wonderful and the location is great. There is a very steep hill getting to the house, but it wasn't a problem for driving and for those of us who are sturdy walkers.

The brilliant deck and all the balconies from the master suite to the private casita downstairs detached from the home to enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Its located in an elite gated community. Very safe for peace of mind. Spacious and equipped with everything you need to enjoy the true beauty of Tamarindo! 4 king suites, beautiful deck to enjoy the spectacular view. A beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. A large kitchen equipped to cook for family and friends and a grill outside for entertaining. We love this home and look forward to going every year. The owners of this home provide a touch of class with the warmth of a comfortable home to enjoy your vacation with friends and family. It sits on top of a very steep hill so having a car is essential to go to and from the beach which is only 5 minutes into the beach town. The hosts from the Property Management company Tamarindo Stay , Arianna and Cris are amazingly kind , communicative and very professional. They were on call and available to help us with what ever we needed throughout our entire stay. The view is not to be missed. Incredible. Perfect for adult family vacation. Pool over sunset crazy beautiful. The guide/ guest book is only online. With the Wi-Fi passwords. If you don’t save it to your phone before arriving you’re screwed. A paper version would have helped.

Attention to cleanliness could be better, there was a contact left in the master bathroom and hair/dirt in the corners of some rooms. Other than that spectacular view the photos dont do the view justice. Great location less than 5 min from the town. Higy recommend for a small group

This house was fantastic. It exceeded all of our expectations. The house is very well designed, open, with great views, and a great place to have a family or several couples (we were two couples and it worked perfectly). The master bedroom was great, with a full balcony and great deck, amazing views. And the casita was a really cool, second guest house, also with great views. The kitchen was very good, and the pool was great (infinity pool with a great view down the hill). Also, the neighborhood was quiet, with security, and separation between houses (the house next door was a family with small kids, and it was never a problem at all). It's also super convenient to the main drag on Tamarindo, and very walkable. Finally, the management of the property is so helpful. They were always available and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. (Honestly, I wish we lived there)!

Cris and Adriana were incredibly helpful from before we arrived all the way through to the end. We didn’t plan much in advance, but everything we wanted to set up was literally just a call or message away. Also recommended a private chef Adriana who made it so worth it to stay in and eat, some of the best food I’ve ever had. The house was incredible as well pictures can’t even describe that sunset everyday. Would return for literally any occasion. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Casa Lomas, the house was beautiful and had many amenities that made the stay extra special. The concierge service, Christina, was phenominal, she was responsive and helpful prior to and during the trip. We utilized the House Chef, Adriana, 5 times and the food was out of this world. All fresh and local food made from scatch. Her menu has something for everyone, and if it does not then she can tailor the meal to your needs and was able to handle allergies easily. if there was a problem with anything it was taken care of immediatetly. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in a gorgeous home with stunning views. You will need a vehicle of some sort to get to the home. It is not easy to get up the hill on foot.

This property is amazing! The view alone makes it worth it. We had no issues with the home and the property management group made our arrival and stay a seamless process. The house is very well equipped and everything functioned appropriately. The location is a very short drive to the main area of Tamarindo and the beach. The property is located up a very steep hill so I would definitely recommend a rental car unless you really like your exercise! Would love to go back again one day!

Cleanliness: House was very clean, clean sheets, & plenty of towels for bathing and swimming. House also came with a black makeup towel for the women. (I've been to countless airbnbs that charge fees when women ruin the white towels with makeup but they don't offer an alternative solution.)
Communication: Really no need for much communication, host is very detailed with instructions prior to arrival, did answer any question I had prior to coming and reminded me about the checkout policy prior to leaving.
Location: Couldn't ask for a better location, literally steps outside of the homes subdivision there is restaurants and bars. Very quiet, peaceful, and serene area. The views are breath taking & I loved every bit of the home.
Check-in: Contactless check in (good for covid protocols, also great for late check ins) we arrived close to midnight and did not have to worry about waking someone up to let us in the home
Value: Worth every penny!
House was everything the pictures show and more. Spacious, modern, clean, and beautiful
Key features: EVERY ROOM in the house comes equipped with its own full bathroom, also every room has their own ice cold individual a/c unit. Every room in the house has door access to outside for smokers if they choose to smoke or catch fresh air they don't have to leave the room to do so.

When booking something online you take a chance that it won't be all it seems in the pictures and description. This house is everything you see and then some! Beautiful, clean, great host company. The view is stunning from every room in the house, the pool was perfect, it was a great location for us and we had the most incredible time. The only thing we missed were the monkeys, didn't see them once!
We can't wait to come back and enjoy this place again!

This house was absolutely stunning! Perfect for families or for friends traveling together. The location is prime and the views and sunsets here were magnificent. We traveled around Tamarindo in gas golf carts. We recommend renting 3 (if group of 8) to distribute the weight. The hill is steep and there were a few times we had to push the golf cart uphill because it would stall (even with 3 people on one). Cris helped arrange all our excursions and was a great communicator. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved how quiet it was and only steps away from the main house. The casita's private balcony has an amazing view. We had a wonderful stay. Tamarindo has everything you need and the house is within walking distance to everything you need. The hill going to the house is rather steep, so I would suggest a car if you have difficulty walking. One of the best beaches I have encountered in my travels is at the bottom of the hill, but lounging at the house is also very relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped, and grocery stores near. Plentiful restaurant choices within walking distance as well. I recommend staying here.

This house exceeded our groups expectations in every way. The views can’t be beat, groundskeeper was friendly, rooms were spacious, kitchen was well stocked, location was close to town, and everything was very clean. Our host (Stay In Tamarindo) set up transportation, tours and gave us general information. Everyone was very helpful and being at that house felt like we were in paradise.
The only suggestion I have is about golf carts and getting up the hill to the house. The hill is very steep. I would recommend only having 2 people per golf cart going up because the carts will die on you. They sometime made it with 4 people but it was a lot of work.

Casa Lomas del Mar was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house and location are stunning. Though we could happily have stayed at the poolside and enjoyed the stunning view, the house is well located to access the beach, restaurants and other activities in Tamarindo. I have stayed in AirBnB homes throughout the world and this house is by far the most beautiful, well located, and fair priced home that I have ever rented. Prefect for families or groups that don’t have infants or very young children.
It is well located and secure with a 3 minute golf cart ride to the beach and 5 minutes to the center of Tamarindo. Highly recommended on all fronts!

The house is called Casa Del Mar and is located on a steep hill close to town. We rented a gas golf cart (electric ones won’t make it up the hill) to drive around town. It was a 3 min drive into the main part of town or a short 10 min hike. The property is gorgeous!! The only issue we had were the glass doors that didn’t close all the way which let in a few little bugs. The master bedroom, the Casitas & the kitchen have the glass doors so those area were more prone to the insects. It didn’t bother us too much though. The pool was so relaxing and overlooks the ocean where you have a clear view of the sunset. The master bedroom was huge and had enormous windows overlooking the beach as well. The showers had great water pressure and well maintained. There were housekeepers that came every other day to clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook. We bought our own groceries and didn’t have any issues looking for supplies. Make sure you bring your own coffee though.. they have a coffee maker but no coffee. There were a few condiments and seasoning in the cupboards. We were able to watch the amazing sunset each night as we cooked in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely spectacular. We arrived and even though the photos are stunning, it’s even better in real life. The home was a dream and the communication was excellent. We felt that the professionalism and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. The walk into town is 7 minutes and about 5 minutes to the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

The house was exactly as pictured and might even be more spectacular in person. The house was spotless when we arrived and the views from the pool and upstairs suite were unbelievable! The hill leading up to the house is walkable but I would highly recommend renting a car or golf cart for a more enjoyable vacation. The guard at the gate also made it very safe and provided us comfort when in the house. The staff was great as well. Communications with Lucas and Cristina before the trip was very easy and they were both very prompt with their responses. Check in with Gilda was quick and simple. Cristina was available to help us with activities, cart rental and massage appointments as needed. Then there was Johnny, we can't say enough about Johnny, he was beyond amazing. He picked us up from the airport and took us to the market on the day we arrived to get groceries and gave us tidbits about the town. On the day of our tour he took us to get breakfast before starting the day. During the tour he took photos and videos for us. He even went on the zip line with us just to take photos and videos for us. He definitely went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. We were unable to carry phones and cameras with us during the activities so we were extremely glad that Johnny was there to capture the moments for us on his phone. He sent them to us later that evening and he took a lot of photos and vids too because we received a total of 64 emails from him! On the way back he took us groceries shopping again per our request. Basically everything we asked of him, he did for us and at times even went above and beyond. He definitely made it a lot easier to enjoy our time in Costa Rica. But overall, the whole staff was great, Lucas, Cristina, Gilda and Johnny, everyone was wonderful.

The view was stunning, the interior design was breathtaking, the location perfect( maybe because we had a car and had no problem with the very steep road to reach the house).The property was clean, very well maintained and everything worked. The staff was kind and smiling, although I found it more relaxed than professional.When we arrived they handed up the keys and said goodbye. We had to insist to be at least taken to the house since we had no idea of the community layout; the lady who took us knew nothing of the property and left us to figure out how everything worked. We did our best but on the second day had to ask for help with a few amenities. When we left we asked if anyone wanted to inspect the property for damage, but we were told there was no need and we could just leave the key by the office. Now that I think of it, it was rather pleasant to find such a laidback service, but at the time it seemed rather odd. There is just one thing we did not apprecciate: we were told, upon my specific request,that there was not going to be any construction site nearby. But there was. Pity. Apart from that small disappointment, I would higly recommend Casa Llomas to anyone who has a car.

This home was amazing. We went to Tamarindo with our two adult children and the space was perfect, basically brand new and so spacious. It is better than the photos and the photos are pretty spectacular. Each of our kids had basically their own little suite with their own bathrooms and the master suite upstairs was incredible. I think my favorite thing was taking a shower in the open shower and looking out at the incredible view. Our kids were all about the infinity pool. The only issue if there even was one, is that it sits at the top of a somewhat steep drive, but there are stairs that lead down to town if you're so inclined (literally a 5 minute walk to town and the beach). In addition to the house being just perfect for us, the staff was also incredible. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The concierge, Cristina, was simply amazing. She arranged everything for us from zip lining to an ATV tour, massages and an private chef from Tamarindo Catering. We hope to go back soon!

Tamarindo was very close however the walk up the hill was best tackled with a car. We used yellowfin tours and did the guachipelin and river excursion. Diego and Adrien were awesome. My daughter left her phone at one location and Adrien drove back and got it for her (over an hour drive). We fished for 3 days and caught marlin and sailfish. This house was breathtaking and we were not disappointed at all in our trip. We enjoyed our 8 night stay and would definitely return.

The character and beauty of this beach home can't be described in words or explained by a single picture ... need to be there to feel it ... will amaze the hardest critic. Would find ourselves changing our programmed activities. Had to decide between entertaining by cooking on the fully equipped kitchen that opens up to the terrace and infinity pool or outdoor barbecuing, eating out didn't seem appealing. Going to the beach or enjoying the infinity pool that overlooks the widest beach view. Having the possibility of enjoying Tamarindo or visiting the different beaches within a 15 minute drive. Having the proximity to the best of Tamarindo night life within walking distance, and yet having enough distance to be able to retreat at home and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The floor plan of the home catered to entertaining, indulging by watching the majestic views and meeting the needs of all: reading a book, listening to music, taking a swim, tanning on the deck, cooking, barbecuing, watching a good movie on netflix, and much more. Around Tamarindo we took a 2 hour jet ski tour to over 7 beaches. Snorkeling and kayaking were just a few of the additional activities we enjoyed. We were celebrating my daughters 17th b'day with friends and family. Each one of us felt our time at Casa Lomas del Mar originally Casa Andrea, to be described as one of the most enjoyed vacations in Costa Rica. A celebration of beautiful!

The day we arrived and the beautiful big front door opened we walked in to see the most stunning views of open water you only see on HGTV. From the lovely Infinity pool that was well-maintained, to the 2nd floor master suite. Nothing was forgotten at this home! Every morning was just another day in paradise. Thank you to the owner of this lovely home to share it with all of us, you certainly gave me an idea what a piece of Heaven was all about!!

Only problem is we are surrounded by trees and plants and therefore we found many bugs. Our house was out of electricity for few hours and the property Management company was very professional and helpful. And that's why this was our second time renting a holiday home from the same property management team.
